Syrian artist Thaier Helal has become a hot name in the Arab art world for his experiments in abstraction. You may have already seen his striking work ‘Paradise Gate’ (2008) hung in Downtown’s Le Gray Hotel. This solo show features new work by the artist, in which the dynamics of mass gatherings are translated onto canvas.
