Aida Cherfan is hosting a collective exhibition of fascinating small sculptures and intricate ceramics by various artists, as well as beautifully accurate watercolours by 61-year old French artist Catherine Jansens. Jansens’ still lifes include images of antique books, world globes, toys and tickets. These are painted amid wonderful impressions of light and shadow, adding to the precision of each artwork. Some of her work is permanently on show at the Palais des Beaux-Arts in the town of Lille, where she resides.
The exhibition will run daily, except Sundays, until Dec 31. For more information call 01 983111
