While the evening of 11.11.2011 is bound to be full of wedding fireworks (according to nuptial-obsessed friends it’s this year’s must-have date), Aïda Cherfan Fine Art will be holding a much more subdued event, to celebrate 11 years of activity in its Downtown venue. The gallery will present new work by Hussein Madi, who was born in Chebaa in 1938, and has risen to become a widely acknowledged painter, sculptor and printmaker.
