Recently awarded the Prix des Jeunes Talents at the art show Salon D'Automne du Musee Sursock, Mazigi is thrilled to have the opportunity to show off her work in Beirut.
Mazigi uses her
background to explore space and conflict as it relates to 'religious and
cultural identity, their visual representations and symbols, as well as
situations of estrangement that derive from exile'.
She has received several other prizes as well as merit grants from the Consulate General
of France in Montreal, the University of Montreal, Stanislas College,
ALBA and the Issam Fares Foundation. Her works have been showcased in
the National Museum of Beirut and the Sursock Museum.
Be sure to check out this Lebanese talent's exquisite work before February 17.
