A $5000 grant is up for grabs for a Lebanese filmmaker with a strong idea for a feature length documentary. The Dubai International Film Festival and BeirutDC are funding the competition, which aims to encourage film production in Lebanon. Candidates, who must be Lebanese or an Arab living in the country, are required to send a two-page synopsis of their documentary along with a DVD of a previous film they have made to the judges by September 13.
