'Arabcity' an exhibition of nine Arab contemporary artists made under the collaboration between Rose Issa projects in London and the new Beirut Exhibition center.

This exhibition will feature works of Basel Abbas and Ruanne Abou-Rahme, Buthayna Ali, Chant Avedissian, Ayman Baalbaki, Hassan Hajjaj, Fathi Hassan, Susan Hefuna and Raeda Saadeh.

Arabcity illustrates the unique and varied ways in which the artists present their conceptual and aesthetic concerns, executed with great warmth, humour and visual poetry.

The exhibition is about the different routes and roots that artists from the Arab world choose. It gives them a space in which to express their response to the personal, national and regional issues affecting the Arab world. Their works also reflect the pulse of the region.

This exhibition will take place from September 22 until October 31st, 11am-8pm at the Beirut Exhibition Center
