Reem Acra, inspired by her spring time garden at her home in Nashville, Tennessee and her many trips to Paris this year has created a bouquet of colourful gowns for her Resort 2012 collection this season.

Reem’s colour palate, inspired by the blooms both native to Tennessee and France features bold hues such as hydrangea blue, hibiscus red and effervescent green.

Like an unfolding bloom, each gown has layers upon layers of intricate details that open out in cascades of silk, tulle and organza to create a majestic swirl of bright color and textures.

Each dress is a dramatic unveiling of material with a few featuring oversized, hand-jeweled ornamental blooms for decoration.

In both short and long lengths, this season’s collection is like a summer stroll along the garden path - a radiant bouquet of color, exquisite craftsmanship and design.
