The David & Goliath of dance and break beats are going to release some serious carnage at the Sporting this August. Get ready for something that could be described as a healthy musical slap in the face – Smash HiFi is a twisted union of two awesome artists, Leeroy Thornhill and Marten Hørger. Former DJ giant Leeroy (literally – he towers at two metres) is from The Prodigy, who gave us albums like 97’s ‘The Fat of the Land’. Germany’s wünderkind Hørger, from the hit DJ collaboration Boogie Army Remix, rose from Berlin’s underground scene to grace the exotic beaches of Ibiza, North America and Australia, on his way remixing the anthem for Mayday, the world’s biggest indoor electronic festival. Two funny dudes that are going to give us the end-of-summer we deserve.
Sept 18, 9pm at Sporting Club (03 856 387 ) Manara, Raouche. Tickets (03 488048) LL50,000.
