Kaotik System are true innovators, pushing the experimental and always interesting (if not always easily listenable) genres of breakcore, IDM and techno, and pioneering the concept of free outdoor parties in Lebanon. They’ve gained a rep for touring interesting international DJs and producers, and their latest event is no different – they’re bringing out Drum Corps, AKA Aaron Spectre, a former hardcore punk drummer turned jungle producer turned breakcore innovator – his gritty death metal influenced drum-pattern-and-bassline compositions will blow your ears (think Fear Factory meets Squarepusher). His work has attracted praise from the likes of BBC Radio 1’s Mary Anne Hobbs and an Award of Distinction at Prix Ars Electronica (Aphex Twin won one, you know). He’s playing live at the Baissour Country Club with locals SubDog, MUNMA (live) and Kapushka & ScrewHeadZ.
