What advice would you have for someone starting out as a model or an actor? They have to be serious about every step they take along the way. This domain is so deep, and you have to know how to swim. What are some of the productions you’ve worked on? In the local market, I’m proud to be working with the well known director Said El Marouk. Working with people like this is one of the main reasons I’m in Lebanon. Internationally, we’ve worked with agencies like Saatchi and Saatchi and the television company Endemol, with whom we worked on Deal Or No Deal. That was a big success for everyone involved. Is there any other role you’d like to work on in this industry? That of Director. The Director is the most important part of the whole production process, creating art, creating history. What is the strangest request you’ve had from a client? Let me think. There have been so many. But recently for a feature film, where they wanted two identical twin sisters aged around 20, to play 10 year old Siamese twins. Is the entertainment business in Lebanon any different from overseas? If so, then how? It’s different because Lebanon is a bridge between East and West, between the two cultures. In the last few years we’ve had international productions coming here from Hollywood and Bollywood. What’s the most challenging part of being an agent? Understanding all my clients and their different needs, because every actor, every model is different – and they expect a lot from their agent. But I work hard for them, I really do.
