The Beirut Art Center is hosting a Palestinian film night where they’ll be screening two short documentaries depicting the trials and tribulations of life in camps in Palestine and North Lebanon.

8pm: Refugee Camp Dir. Nabil Kanafani. 1971. 6mins. Palestine. Mute. Architect, Kanafani's film has recently been found by his daughter, Samar, and was made as a part of a documentation on camps as urban spaces for a possilbe project of alternative housing for Palestinian refugees.

Nervus Rerum Dir. Otolith Group in Jenin Camp. 2008. 32mins. Palestine. English. An essay film juxtaposing excertps from writings of Fernando Pessoa adn Jean Genet with dramatic imagery of the West Bank camp made by a divere group of filmmakers.
