For the 17th time in Lebanon, the European Film Festival, presented at the Cinema Metropolis Empire Sofil,  will be featuring 32 recent films from the European Union, a series of short films for the younger audience and 21 short films produced by students of seven Lebanese audiovisual schools. The festival will end with the Lebanese-Swedish director Josef Fares' film Farsan (Balls), who recently was awarded Best Arab Filmmaker, 2010 Doha Tribecca International Film Festival.
