This is the second edition of the children's film club. Starting this month at the Metropolis Empire the club invites children aged between eight and 12 to experience and learn about the culture of film. All the young' ins who've signed up for the club will be invited to the cinema once a month and introduced to different types of films from comedy to drama to even a little horror.
A week before each film is screened, children will be sent an illustrated journal describing the next film, and at the movie showing there will be two presenters who'll perform a short show related to the film. Featured films will include 'Bugsy Malone', 'Kirikou et la Sorciere', 'Le Roi et l'Oiseau and Charlie Chaplin's 'Modern Times'.
The cine club will run from October 21 to June 8, 5pm. LL75,000 monthly fee.
