An audio-visual project with field recordings and electronic music.
Catch electronic and experimental musician Batur Sönmez at the Beirut Art Center as he presents his project NOISEISTANBUL. The project merges audio and video, taking inspiration from the unique city soundscape of Sönmez's own Istanbul.
Besides its beauty, the city offers sounds and noises unfound elsewhere in the world, so expect a leftfield mix of recordings and graphics as Sönmez translates his research into an unmissable audio-visual experience.
Batur Sönmez is an experimental musician and audio-visual artist from Istanbul.
