Danish clarinetist and composer Lone Madsen is one of Europe’s infamous avant-garde soloists. She studied in New York City, at the world-renowned Juilliard School and later on at the Lincoln Center of Performing Arts, where she was taken under the wing of the iconic clarinettist Charles Neidich. Currently working with Grammy Award-winning producer Steven Epstein on her next album, her performance with Bulgarian chamber orchestra ‘The Sofia Soloists’ at Al Bustan Festival will surely be memorable.
