Two rising stars, Siberian pianists Eduard Kunz and Ilya Rashkovskiy were 2007 Laureates of the George Enescu International Competition. BBC’s ‘ten of tomorrow's great pianists to watch’ Eduard Kunz won the first prize of the competition while Ilya Rashkovskiy won the Special Prize for the best interpretation of a Piano Sonata by George Enescu. They will be interpreting works by Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninov, Liszt and Enescu for Al Bustan Festival.
