Lebanese composer and pianist Walid Nahas – who’s just recently relocated to Beirut from Montreal – plays a solo piano concert from his recently released album ‘Immersion’, along with a few new tracks. Starting the piano at the age of eight, Nahas was classically trained but really found his rhythm improvising as a piano bar player in Montreal. He spent his teen years accompanying rock bands till he settled as a solo artist. His last album ‘Immersion’ is a beautiful romantic-era inspired contemplative collection of pieces.
