Starting out as a music blog, the BCE (Beirut-Chicago Express) is a DJ collective of three. Their friend, Ayla Hibri, moved to Chicago – leaving Georges and Richie behind to cry into their records – now the trio have been reunited to DJ your socks off at different parties across Beirut.

‘A chick in the car and the car won’t go’ – that’s how we spell Chicago.

Describe the man in the corner of your new club night ‘You Say We Say!’ sitting next to the speakers?
After his nine-to-five, in the (real) city that never sleeps, he seeks a fresh entertainment concept – great music and dance partners who actually dance.

Tell us the most cringingly hipster record you’ve spun at a BCE?
‘Fishy Fishy Speaker’ by The Tables (Berlin Bear edit) – you’ve probably never heard of it.
