If you didn't catch last year's tribute to the late German dancer and choreographer Pina Bausch, then now's the perfect time to see an in-flesh performance by her disciple, Henrietta Horn. A more than established dancer and choreographer in her own right, Horn will be gracing at Al Madina stage for one night only to perform two solo works. 'Schimmer' (Shimmer), visualises the relationship between colour and movement: what does blue mean? And can a movement change the meaning? The second piece, 'Triebschatten' (Drifting Shadow) is a new work, in which Berlin-born Horn playfully criticises the very contradictions of her own art. Contemporary dance its best.
