Directed by Majdi Bou Matar, The Last 15 Seconds’ begins with the tragic death of Syrian-American filmmaker Moustapha Akkad (‘Halloween’, ‘Lion of the Desert’) and his daughter Rima during an explosion in Amman in 2005. The work revolves around an imagined dialogue between Akkad and Rawad Jassem Mohammad Abed, the suicide bomber who carried out the explosion.
