'La Conference des Oiseaux' ('The Conference of Birds') is a major work of Persian poems written by Farid Ud-Din Attar, a Sufi poet of the twelfth century. At Sunflower Theatre the mystic story of the birds that go in search of a bird king, is staged by Alain Plisson with profits donated to various organisations including the Lebanese Red Cross, Voix de la Femme ibanaise and the Association contre le Sida.
