Stop by Sugar ' n' Lace for one of their exquisite LL3,000 cupcakes and become positively saccharine. Available in flavours ranging from strawberry to Snickers and from lemon to double chocolate, you'll spend ages dithering over which to pick from the dainty doilies that give the French-inspired café its name. Or just pile them all on. And an espresso while you're at it. And maybe a slice of that delicious-looking cheesecake. They do catering, you say? And sandwich menu any day? We'll be waiting...

Pineapple head
A self-proclaimed 'Joe's Fine Salad', this is a big, punchy hit of summer from Latin America that's just crying out to be washed down with a pitcher of margarita. The Pina Bajio (LL33,500) comes in a scooped-out half pineapple, filled with grilled chicken breast, shrimps, and fresh pineapple cubes, mixed with a creamy, spicy dressing and sided with salad and French bread. If that doesn't have you reaching for the castanets, we don't know what will.
