    • Mississippi

    • A short menu of well-executed mezze and grills in a magical location – at the mouth of the Qadisha next to a roaring river. We ordereda few simple mezze and they didn’t disappoint – the fattouche was perfect, sumac-flavoured and served in baskets of fried bread. There is no menu, and we discovered when the bill came that you do pay for the presentation and the riverside seats. The attractive fattouche turned out to be a steep LL10,000, as did a plate of tasty fries, leaving us wondering if we were paying ‘tourist prices’.

      Qadisha Riverside, before Bcharré

Try the gourmet ice creams for a delectable side order.
