Maki Beirut is simply the best Japanese place in Lebanon if not in the World , yes i will say in the World because you will not find such great quality of food and upscale service staff as you will experience in Maki, Guys beleive me you are the best, i spent the last few years searching for a nice sushi place , i just found it now it is MAKI

Fouad ! Do u know what makes ur restaurant perfect? 1- perfect quality 2- amazing presentation 3- effeciency in service ! That's the definition off maki plus u know that if a 60% percent of any community that loves a restaurant is a perfect restaurant ! Cuz u know here are alot of tastes in food ! But here 99% agrees on one thing ! Only u is saying a differnet not because u have a different taste ! No because u don't have taste at all! Hates of to maki

Maki is the one of the only places with grade A meat and fish, from Japan! No where else has wagyu grade 5, and this is a fact. Fresh everything, and crazy ingredients from Japan too. No other japanese, contemporary or not, is like it. Sorry Fouad, I totally disagree with you.

MAKI is the best sushi restaurant in Lebanon, i have tried them all and it is realy the best. The quality of the food is extraordinary, the menu is so rich and deversified, the service is very good, the presentation is so artistic and most of all it is a very refined dining experience. Trust me and try MAKI. MAKI team keep doing the good work. We love you...

MAKI to me is the best in world and Mr. Fouad is worried about presentation, my advise to him is to stick with FOOLs and falafel.

Maki is a different sushi place not like the regular places where they all share the same menu. You cannot compare it to the others. What makes Maki stand out is the great variety of dishes, the beautiful presentation, and the best quality of food. You are guaranteed your money's worth while enjoy the friendly and professional service. I personally go there like once or twice a week. I simply love it!!

With all my respect to Fouad i tend to disagree on what's written above. Maki is by far the number one Japanese restaurant not in Lebanon but in the Middle East. Maki combines both taste and presentation added to that the Japanese atmosphere the place gives to the not to miss experience. Unfortunately several people especially in Lebanon are used to the traditional Japanese food therefore whoever wants to endeavour his experience in fusion Japanese, Maki should be your destination!

I beg to disagree! I am personally tired of having the same old simple sushi at every Japanese restaurant, Maki is simply something new as for presentation/ disqualification, did you know that restaurants get stars on presentation? seriously, what's better than eating gorgeous appetizing food? Worth every penny (once a month heheh)

I believe that the review is a bit exaggerated! I went there last week and it was a big disappointment because the money value and the food was not up to expectations. When food looses its simplicity and becomes a matter of presentation not taste, the restaurant becomes disqualified...
