A Boutique Society is the store on the go founded by Yasmine Behnam back in 2009. Each season, it travels for two to three days at a time to Beirut, Cairo and Dubai along with its quirky collection of womenswear and accessories.
The concept takes retail therapy to a new level setting up shop in a variety of venues from art galleries to serene gardens.
With many shoppers becoming regulars, the experience is a social one with many hanging around for a cup of coffee. With today's trends, it only makes sense that the venue is always on the move in a bid to be effortlessly stylish.
‘Beirut is to me a great way to feel the pulse of a collection, as Lebanese women are already exposed to such a variety of great brands in the city that when they buy (heavily!) into the collection, we know that collection will do well in our next markets too,’ said Behnam.
This Autumn/Winter collection boasts an array of deconstructed clothes as well as intricate leather pieces and chunky accessories. It has a bourgeois sophistication with a rebellious silhouette.
The next pop-up event is from December 1-3 at Kitsch Boutique & Bakery, so make sure to pick up a cupcake and check out the selection of threads, an irresistible combination at best.
