The organisation Polyliban in conjunction with the Lebanese Army is putting on a truly exciting alpine race next month. The 'Raid des Cedres' is a ski touring race which will pit foreigners and Lebanese against each other in an attempt to scale the three highest peaks of Lebanon (Qornet Es-Sawda, Sannine and Mont Hermon).
The race is being organised by the Rangers Regiment of the Lebanese Army, a unique opportunity for civilians from around the world to meet members of the Lebanese military and face off in the three races. The RDC includes five categories of participants: military, civilian women, civilian men, civilian mix and civilian foreigner. Interested? Register now.
